Jason quickly buckled back up. Connor threw her a towel. Amanda cleaned up as best she could, while brushing her skirt down and adjusting her veil.

“You okay in there?” Shannon called. “How come the door’s locked?”

“COMING!” Amanda shouted, laughing inwardly at the absurdity of the word. “Just finishing up!”

She handed Connor his jacket before he forgot. “I’ll go first,” she told him. “Give me a solid minute to lead her into the next room, then you guys sneak out.”

Jason snapped her a mock salute. Connor replied by kissing her. It was a long, deep kiss, full of passion and longing — the last kiss as her fiance. It made her feel warm and tingly all over, and Amanda’s legs went weak again before she was able to push him away.

“Save it for the altar,” she smiled.

Woozily she grabbed for the door handle. Looking back one last time, she tossed the towel at the mess on the floor.

  “And clean that up!”

  Ten

The wedding was picture perfect, as beautiful as she’d always imagined it would be.

Amanda walked down the aisle, smiling brilliantly, holding her bridal bouquet dead center against her trembling stomach. Her heart swelled with joy at seeing Connor, standing there, ready to marry her. He was smart and funny. Tall, caring, and handsome. The culmination of an entire life’s hopes and dreams; the epitome of the perfect man.

Her eyes shifted slightly to one side, and there was Jason. The best man. Their best friend, really. And much more recently, her lover…

She reached the altar on legs that still wobbled, but Amanda made it. The priest took over. The ceremony droned on. They swore vows to each other beneath a flawless azure sky, while their friends and family all watched, smiling.

There was one heart-stopping moment when Amanda felt it; first a wetness, then a trickle. Somewhere beneath the anonymity of her wedding dress, a droplet of come was dripping down her leg. A lewd mixture of the groom and the best man’s seed, slowly making its way down the inside of one porcelain thigh…

She shifted, bringing her legs together, and that was the end of it. They kissed, waved at the crowd, then made their way back up the aisle and toward the reception area.

I love this man, Amanda thought happily, her arm hooked through Connor’s. She looked at him with a swell of pride. And he’s my husband now…

She sighed. Amanda knew she was lucky — maybe even the luckiest girl in the world.

Certainly luckier than any other bride she knew.

“Come on,” Connor said, extending his hand again. “Dance with me.”

It was their fifth or sixth dance, Amanda couldn’t remember which. But it was the first one they actually got to enjoy. The night was mostly over, the wedding winding down. No one was constantly interrupting to congratulate them. No one banging on glasses so they would kiss, no guests asking to take selfies with them every two minutes.

  “You tired?”

“Exhausted,” Amanda sighed, resting her head on her husband’s shoulder.

“Good, that means we did it right. And we can sleep on the plane.”

It was the part of her wedding she was looking most forward to — the honeymoon. Lying on a beach, thinking about absolutely nothing, Allowing the gentle blue-green waters of the Caribbean to lap at her toes…

“I can’t wait,” she murmured. “For Turks and Caicos yes, but also for the sleep.”

She pretended to pass out on his chest. She even started snoring. Connor laughed.

In truth, she was glad it was over. Marrying Connor was the only important part, really. The only thing that truly mattered. All the rest — the photos, the dancing, the cutting of the cake, throwing of the garter… all of that stuff was bullshit.

Yes, this was her night, and it was her bullshit.

  But it was still bullshit.

Connor’s arms felt amazingly good around her. She felt safe in them. Comforted. She always had.

“Last night, eh?” her husband said.

Amanda took a breath and let it out as a sigh. She smiled. “Oh yeah. Last night…”

He pulled her in. Stroked her hair as they swayed to the music.

“Not to mention earlier,” she added dryly. “Just a few minutes before we got hitched.”

He nodded with a chuckle. “That was…”

  “Bananas?”

“Yes,” Connor agreed. “Bananas!” He laughed again. “But bananas in a good way.”

Amanda purred into his chest. She closed her eyes. “A very good way,” she agreed.

A silence settled over them, granting them a peacefulness neither had felt since before the week began. It felt good. Almost sleep-inducing.

“I’m glad we did that,” Amanda sighed, almost in a whisper. “You know, before we got married.”

Connor’s hand moved down, giving her ass a playful squeeze. “You mean you don’t want to do it anymore, now that we’re married?”

Her stomach did another somersault. Amanda felt a warmth spreading through her belly.

  “I… I mean…”

Her husband smiled down at her. “Go on. You can say it.”

Amanda thought back to last night. To earlier today. To everything.

“Yes,” she admitted. She looked up, into his eyes. Saw the same desire and excitement that she saw before. “Yes I do.”

“Good,” Connor smiled. He leaned down and kissed her for the hundredth time that day, and it still felt like the first. “Me too.”

He cupped her ass with both hands now. Guests were already leaving, so the dance floor wasn’t as full. Even so, Amanda didn’t care who saw. He was her husband now. He could do anything he wanted.

Anything he wanted… She liked the sound of that.

“When you danced with Jason before, I was going to make you press your panties into his hand,” Connor said. “As a souvenir, for tonight.”

That would’ve been hot, Amanda thought.

“But you already took them off.”

“I had to,” she said. “They were soaking wet.”

  “I know baby.”

She started looking around. “Wait… where is Jason? I haven’t seen him since—”

“He had to leave,” Connor said. “Apparently they changed his flight. He rushed out of here pretty quick, while you were busy with—”

“What? He left?” Now she was upset. “Without saying goodbye?”

“He told me to tell you he was so sorry. And to give you his love.”

“His love?” Amanda was absolutely crestfallen. She knew Jason had to get back to California fairly quickly, but not this quick.

“Don’t worry,” said Connor. “You’ll see him again soon.”

Her lips curled into a pouty face. He kissed that too, then hugged her close.

“Ah, my beautiful wife…” Connor turned the word over in his mouth a few times, tasting it.

  “Yeah. I like that.”

It was over. Finally over. And if she were being completely honest? She couldn’t be more relieved.

Amanda sat on the plane in her cutest, most comfortable pair of sweatpants. She her headset, her book, her magazines. None of it mattered really, because she’d be asleep in minutes. She planned to spend the entire way there curled up against Connor, snoring blissfully away in seat 34B.

I still can’t believe it, she thought to herself. Everything that happened in the past 24 hours!

Her body still ached, both from lack of sleep and from being manipulated by her lovers. From being stretched out… spread wide... bent over. Down between her legs, even her pussy ached.

Amanda smiled anyway. Because there was a contentment there too.

  He left without saying goodbye…

For her that was the hardest part. And it was strange too. The reception was certainly chaotic, but she couldn’t remember being away long enough that Jason might not be able to—

  She stopped, instantly, mid-thought.

  Holy sh
it!

Jason was standing in front of her, making his way down the aisle. As he approached their row, he saw Amanda looking and grinned.

“Connor!” She elbowed her husband. “What the—”

“Ah, good,” he yawned. “Looks like my wedding present to you just got here.”

She froze in disbelief as Jason tossed a bag in the overhead compartment. He sat down in the seat beside her, and kissed her on the cheek.

  “Happy wedding day.”

Amanda was in utter shock. “I thought you had to fly out early!”

“I am flying out early,” he grinned. “With you guys.”

Connor leaned in close, putting his lips against Amanda’s ear. “He’s coming with us,” her husband explained. “On our honeymoon. You… me… and Jason.”

She tried to swallow but there was suddenly a lump in her throat.

“If that’s okay with you, of course,” Jason added. “I mean, I wouldn’t want to intrude or—”

She kissed him on the lips, shutting him up. Stopping him from saying anything else. Then she turned and kissed her husband, even harder, even longer. An elderly woman in opposite row threw her a surprised look.

When Amanda leaned back, she wore the biggest, broadest grin. Her face was red, her entire body flush with excitement.

Are you sure about this? the little voice in her head spoke up.

Her body answered that question with an electric shiver.

“Turks and Caicos?” she said, grabbing each of their hands.

“Turks and Caicos,” they replied together.

And at that moment, Amanda was absolutely sure of it. She was the luckiest girl in the world.
